Keep, Sort Out, Later
Every track shows up as a card. Listen, add tags, rating, color and playlists, then move on:
- Keep: swipe right, press → or Return, or click Keep. The track stays in your library with your edits.
- Sort Out: swipe left or press ←. The track is marked for removal. Press D for a duplicate or K for a defective file.
- Later: press ↑ or click Later on the Mac, tap Later on iPhone and iPad. The track moves to the end of the queue.
Made a mistake? Press U to undo the last swipe or edit.
What sorting out does
Sorting out only marks a track. It leaves rekordbox when you apply, together with its cues, beatgrid and playlist entries. When you apply, you choose whether the audio files also go to the Trash. See Apply.
Removing tracks from rekordbox is part of Cuetto Pro. On the free plan, sorted out tracks stay in your Change List and everything else is applied.
Keyboard shortcuts on the Mac
Press ? in the deck or choose Keyboard Shortcuts in the Help menu to see this list in the app. The same keys work on iPad with a hardware keyboard.

Press the active color key again to remove the color. While you type in the search or a title field, all shortcuts are off.
Choose what to work on
The source menu in the filter bar sets what you work on: All Tracks or a single playlist or folder from your rekordbox library. The deck only shows tracks from that source.
On iPad in landscape, a playlist sidebar shows up. Tap a playlist to filter, or drag the card onto a playlist to add the track to it. Folders open when you hold the card over them.
Filters and search
Filters narrow the queue further. You can combine several:
- Quick filters: Untagged, No Rating, No Color, Added Last 30 Days.
- My Tags: has a tag, or has no tag in a category.
- Music: genre, BPM or a BPM range, key, energy.
- Library: rating, color, date added, missing info.
The search field understands free text and shortcuts: a number searches BPM, 8a a key, and prefixes like artist:, genre: or playlist: search one field. Return adds the filter.
